It works because it makes things immediate, easy and more transparent.

People love to complain, but if handled well, this can actually look GOOD for your brand.

Making it easy for people to contact you and complain or seek help is a refreshing change from companies that hide their phone numbers and hide behind self serve FAQs making support a painful process.

 

How can you use it?

To make this work, and if it’s appropriate for you, create a new social media account (often a Twitter/X account) and promote this to your buyers.
