What is it?

The Online Calendars technique uses simple, self-service online booking tools (like Calendly, SavvyCal, etc.) to let prospects and clients schedule calls or meetings with you at a time that suits them — without the usual back-and-forth.

It removes friction, shortens response times, and gives your buyer control over the booking process.

How does it work?

In most sales situations, arranging a call or meeting becomes a game of email ping-pong:

  • “Are you free Tuesday at 2?”

  • “No, how about Thursday?”

  • “That doesn’t work, what about next week?”

The Online Calendars™ technique replaces all of that with a simple booking link.

You simply share your calendar link, and your prospect can instantly see:

  • Your availability

  • Time zone adjustments

  • Automatic reminders

  • Reschedule or cancel options

They pick a time. You both get a confirmation. The meeting is set.

No chasing. No delays. No excuses.

How can you use it?

You can apply Online Calendars™ throughout your entire sales and service process:

  • On your website:
Add a “Book a call” button linked to your calendar.

  • In your email signature:
Include a permanent link for prospects to self-book.

  • In your lead follow-up:
Instead of “let me know when you’re free” you say, “Here’s my link — pick a time that works for you.”

  • For onboarding calls:
Allow new clients to schedule their first call instantly after signing up.

  • For account management:
Let existing clients book catch-ups when they need help.

Example

I use a Calendly for some client calls and a custom URL to direct people there -cuts down on friction and wasted time.
