One Price Sale

TLDR: Every product on offer sold at the same fixed price, so the deal is instantly easy to understand.

Most sales need a moment of working out. Is 20% off worth it? What’s the price after the discount? A One Price Sale skips all of that.

One number. Every item. No maths required. The buyer sees the price before they’ve even looked at what’s on offer.

That simplicity is the whole point. So when buyers don’t have to think, they’re far more likely to act.

What Is A One Price Sale?

A One Price Sale is a promotion where multiple selected products are all sold for the same fixed price. It doesn’t matter if one item would normally cost more than another. During the sale, everything in the offer costs exactly the same.

This makes the offer simple, clear, and easy to understand at a glance, which is rare in a world of confusing percentage discounts and fine print.

Why Does A One Price Sale Work?

Percentage discounts force the buyer to do mental maths. A One Price Sale removes that step entirely, so there’s nothing standing between seeing the offer and understanding it.

It also feels fair. Every product costs the same, so the buyer isn’t left wondering if they picked the worse deal. That removes a small but real source of hesitation.

And a single, repeated price is easy to remember. “Everything’s a pound” sticks in a way that “selected items 15% to 40% off” never will, because the brain holds onto simple numbers far better than ranges.

How Can You Use A One Price Sale In Sales?

Pick a price that sounds bold

Round numbers work best, such as £1, £5, or £10. The simpler the number, the easier it is to repeat and the more it stands out in someone’s feed.

Choose products that make the deal feel generous

If your highest value item is included at the same low price as your cheapest, that contrast makes the whole sale feel like a genuine bargain rather than a marketing trick.

Make the headline do the selling

Lead with the price, not the percentage. “Selected products from £1” gets noticed faster than any version with a discount badge attached to it.

When A One Price Sale Works Best

It works best when you have a range of products at different normal prices, so the contrast between the original cost and the sale price feels obvious. The bigger the gap, the bigger the perceived bargain.

It also performs well on social media and paid ads, where buyers scroll fast and need to understand an offer in a second or two. A single, simple price does that job better than any complicated discount structure.

When A One Price Sale Becomes Dangerous

It becomes dangerous if the margin on your higher value products can’t support the price. Selling something that normally costs far more at the same low rate can damage profit fast if you haven’t done the maths first.

It can also backfire if buyers feel tricked once they look closer, such as discovering the “same price” items are all low quality stock you wanted to clear anyway. The simplicity has to be matched by a genuinely fair offer.

Common One Price Sale Mistakes

Picking an awkward price point

A price like £3.47 ruins the simplicity that makes this offer work. Stick to round, easy numbers that people can say out loud without thinking.

Including only low value items

If everything in the sale was cheap anyway, the offer loses its impact. So mix in at least a few higher value products to make the deal feel worth talking about.

Not protecting your margin

Running a One Price Sale without checking the numbers first can quietly wipe out your profit. Work out your break even point before you set the price.

One Price Sale – An Example

The EZ One Pound Sale

A car care brand ran a promotion offering several of its 500ml products, normally priced well above a pound each, all at the same flat £1.00.

The headline did the heavy lifting. No percentage, no fine print, just one clear number sitting above the products. Anyone scrolling past instantly understood the deal without reading a single line of detail, which is exactly what a good One Price Sale should achieve.
