Understand Your Buyer > How to connect with your buyer > The Pro Version
What is it?
The Pro Version is all about creating a more “heavy duty” version of your offering that can be used by professionals/ high volume users.
Why does it work?
It works because adapting your offering to the needs of your clients is never a bad thing. In creating a “PRO” version you recognise the need for a more durable, heavy-duty version of the offering which appeals to your professional/high volume users who may have had issues with your regular, non-pro offering.
How can you use it?
Depending on your offering, what are the issues and circumstances faced by “heavy duty” or high volume use of your offering that you can eliminate for your buyers?
Example:
A company sells noise-cancelling headphones to general consumers. They launch a new product:
“SoundCore Pro: Built for all-day use by audio engineers, streamers, and frequent flyers. Enhanced comfort, longer battery life, and studio-grade clarity.”
The standard version is still available for casual listeners, but the Pro version is clearly designed for high-frequency, professional users who need more durability, battery life, and sound quality.
Why it works:
-
It directly speaks to power users who feel limited by the regular product
-
It commands a higher price, justified by superior features
-
It elevates brand perception for all users, even if they don’t buy the Pro version
