It works because it gives the audience what they want – a tangible souvenir of the talk and hopefully some actionable takeaways or resources.
How can you use it?
To make this work, at your next talk you need to make a copy of your slides available via something like Google Drive and then host the link on a dedicated page on your website or a suitable landing page which also promotes other free or paid things you offer.
