Practical Sales Training™ > How to connect with your buyer> The Timeline Effect
What is it?
A timeline helps your buyer make a better decision. It provides a simple articulation of the impact of consequences your buyer might be facing. It helps to reframe things to the longer term.
Why does it work?
It works because we often default to thinking in the short term only about the problems we face and the impact of the solutions we are thinking of buying to solve them. A timeline makes you think longer term which can change how you see problems and help reconsider your actions.
How can you use it?
There are a couple of ways you can use this:
1 – A timeline of what happens if your buyer doesn’t solve their problem.
2 – A timeline of the project and working with you.
3 – A timeline of how your industry as changed or will change over time.
