What is it?

Your logo can be a great opportunity to inject some meaning or depth into your branding to catch the attention of your buyer and/or communicate more than just your brand name.

 

Why does it work?

It works because it adds an additional layer of connection. By having a visual element rather than just a logo, you are creating a talking point for presentations and your website.

 

How can you use it?

There are a number of ways to do it, but these 2 are

1 – Have an “Easter Egg” or hidden message/meaning in the logo.

2 – Relate the logo to your methodology and how you do what you do.  Just like this logo for Developing Business Perofrmance which shows the layers and functions of the businesses they work with to drive performance.

 

 

Example

This is an example of an Easter Egg, the FedEx logo has a hidden arrow in it to imply the movement / express nature of their service.
