Meet James Newell

 

I created Clear Sales Message™ in 2018 after leaving a successful corporate sales career to focus on helping businesses communicate more clearly and sell more effectively.

Over 12 years in sales, I supplied more than £600M worth of vehicles and never missed a sales target. (But I worried every single month!)

As I started working with businesses across the UK, one thing became obvious very quickly:

Most businesses did not have a SALES problem. They have a COMMUNICATION problem.

It turns out selling has far more to do with communication and connection than techniques and trickery.

This became the philosophy behind Clear Sales Message™ that’s as true now as it was then:

What I Do

I often joke that what I actually to is I help people to answer this question…. but in essence I teach people how to sell and it comes in 2 parts:

2 – Developing Selling Confidence™

I work with businesses to improve how they explain what they do and why somebody should buy from them- everything is grounded in communication, pscyhology and proven strategies, not techniques or trickery.

I host The Daily Sales Message podcast.

Yes. Daily.

Which means more than 1,000 episodes covering sales messaging, buyer psychology, conversion, trust, communication, pricing, differentiation and all the little things that quietly affect whether people buy from you or not.

The podcast is designed to give people simple, practical ideas they can actually use in real situations.

Because most people need help knowing what to do and what to say to sell.

What I Believe

For me, selling is about good communication and finding a connection point. It’s a conversation with money at the end.

Most businesses struggle to articulate their offering, clearly communicate their value and effectively differentiate.

CLEAR communication changes everything.

Clarity creates confidence. Confidence increases conversion.
