If you want to get people to take action, removing the barriers to buying doesn’t get much more exciting than not needing a credit card to sign up.
Why does it work?
It works because if we have to submit our credit card details, we are worried about being charged or forgetting about a subscription and wasting money.
How can you use it?
If appropriate for your offering, can you remove the need for a credit card to sign up? How can you allow buyers to experience your offering with little to no commitment?

Software is one of the best applications of this strategy – you’ll know from experience that if you don’t need credit card details to sign up, you are far more likely to do it.
