The Kids Go Free Effect is all about appealing to parents by making your offering free to their children.

Why does it work?

It works because as parents life can be EXPENSIVE. If you are able to take your children somewhere for free it not only appeals to you as a parent as you feel like someone understands your financial pressures, but it means you actually spend less. For the business offering kids to go free, the reality is that children eat, drink and consume very little so the real cost of the offer is minimised.

 

 

How can you use it?

Depending on your offering, consider offering one child free per paying adult. Being clear on the paying adult is important as you need to charge someone money for your offering – it can’t simply be free to all.
