What is it?

The more a buyer is exposed to you and your message, the greater your chance of selling to them.


Why does it work?

It works because over time, we become more familiar and trusting of people and things. When something is new we are skeptical, but when it’s familiar we aren’t as guarded.

It comes down to the “rule of 7” which is  a marketing maxim developed by the movie industry in the 1930s. Studio bosses discovered that a certain amount of advertising and promotion was required to compel someone to see one of their movies.


How can you use it?

You quite simply need to consider how you can maximise the time your potential buyer “sees” you. From longer form videos and podcasts to events, meetings and calls. The more time spent in your company or thinking of you, the higher your chances of making the sale.
