What is it?

If you want to catch the attention of your buyer, or if you have a complicated message, then a rotating message can talk about multiple things without overloading your buyer.

Why does it work?

It works because it allows you to say more than one thing, but without overloading the mind of your buyer. In fact, it’s MORE engaging to have movement in your messaging and so, ironically, you can communicate more information AND seize attention simultaneously.

How can you use it?

You’ll need to have someone create the animation or GIF for you, but a rotating message is basically a staement about who your offering is for or what it does and only one fixed element (often the final element) of the statement changes.

In the example below, Zapier are able to communicate 4 use cases for their product in a few seconds:

  • Today is a great day to automate your customer support
  • Today is a great day to automate your team handoffs
  • Today is a great day to automate your leads
  • Today is a great day to automate your marketing campaigns

Example

Zapier use this on their website (at the time of writing).
